These Terms of Service (the "Terms") set out the conditions for using "Quadotto" (the "Service"). By using the Service, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

Article 1 (Description of the Service)

The Service lets you preview pixel-art data in the PX1 format — output by the VRChat asset "Quadotto" — in a web browser and export it as a PNG image. Users who log in with a Google account can also publish, list, and delete their artworks. Generating and downloading a PNG image does not require login.

Article 2 (Accounts and Handling of Personal Information)

The Service offers login via Google Account (OpenID Connect), used solely to identify users. The only data obtained at login is the internal identifier (sub) issued by Google; no personal information such as name, email address, or profile picture is ever collected or stored. The login feature limits the requested scope to openid only.

Article 3 (Handling of Submitted Data)

1. When publishing, users choose one of three visibility settings, and may change it at any time afterwards from My Page.
   • Public — listed in the gallery, in tag searches, and in the VRChat feed.
   • Tag-only — not listed in the gallery or in an untagged fetch. It appears only when fetched with one of the tags the user attached.
   • Private — listed nowhere. Neither the artwork page nor the image URL is viewable by anyone but the author.
2. For artworks set to Public or Tag-only, the PNG image is viewable by anyone holding the artwork page URL or the image URL, regardless of the visibility setting.
3. Pixel-art data (the PX1 string) is shown on this website to its author alone. For artworks set to Public or Tag-only, however, the PX1 string is distributed in an unauthenticated feed so the Quadotto gallery in VRChat can redraw the picture. Anyone can fetch that feed. Tag-only therefore means "not listed", not "kept secret". Choose Private, or do not publish, for anything you do not want others to obtain.
4. Tags are public information used to group artworks for a particular world or event. Anyone can search by a tag, so do not use one as a secret string.
5. The operator will not use published pixel-art data itself for any purpose other than display on the Service and in VRChat (such as selling or redistributing it to third parties).
6. Users warrant that the data they publish does not infringe the copyright, right of publicity, or any other rights of third parties.

Article 4 (Prohibited Acts)

When using the Service, users must not engage in any of the following acts:

• Posting content that infringes the copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights of third parties
• Posting content that violates laws or public order and morals, or that is violent, discriminatory, or obscene
• Posting content that defames third parties or damages their honor or credit
• Placing an excessive load on the Service's servers or network, or attempting unauthorized access
• Any other act the operator deems inappropriate

Article 5 (Removal and Other Actions by the Operator)

The operator may delete, without prior notice to the user, any post it determines falls under or is likely to fall under the preceding article, and may take any other necessary action. The Service also enforces rate limits (up to 20 posts per user per day and 200 posts in total); posts beyond these limits will result in an error.

Article 6 (Deletion and Caching)

Users may delete their published artworks from My Page at any time. Deletion permanently removes the data from the database and cannot be undone. However, image data may remain in the delivery network (CDN / edge cache) for up to about an hour after deletion, during which the image may still appear if the image URL is accessed directly. Please be aware of this in advance.

Article 7 (Disclaimer of Warranties)

The Service is provided "as is," with no warranty of completeness, accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose. The operator shall not be liable for any damage users incur through use of the Service, except where caused by the operator's willful misconduct or gross negligence.

Article 8 (Suspension, Modification, and Termination of the Service)

The operator may modify the content of the Service, or suspend or terminate its provision, without prior notice to users. The operator is not liable for any damage users incur as a result.

Article 9 (Changes to the Terms)

The operator may change these Terms at any time when it deems necessary. The revised Terms take effect from the moment they are posted on this page.

Article 10 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute arising in connection with the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the operator's location as the court of first instance.
